With the addition of so many players playing an extra year, the musical chairs will not end well for some kids.
Should NCAA consider something to address the inequity of the current system which seems to favor wealthy, large elite P5 programs?
For example, if group of 5 schools were allowed to have 100 scholarship players and the option to split ships (ie 10 could go to 20 guys like they do in baseball) it might offset some of the “farm team” effect that seems inevitable outcome of the current setup.
