There are no NBA draft picks on this team, but the defense (especially perimeter D), passing, no TO’s and rebounding is stellar. That’s coaching and effort!

I’d think that as of today’s he’s definitely a candidate.
I love Pike and what he is doing and has done so far to date and should/will be in consideration, but there are certainly some others who are doing tremendous stuff as well. Two names stand out to me:
Lavall Jordan @ Butler who said a .500 team last year and was up to a top 5 ranking before a rough week and is still a top 15 team in the country.
Brian Dutcher @ SDSU: Yes they were a 20 win team last year but there is a very real possibility this year that they finish Top 5 or better in the nation with an outside shot to go undefeated.
Be interesting to see how it all plays out but as Pike says, just enjoy the journey!!

Doesn't the B1G have its own? Still some competition for it but he's done a helluva job thus far!
Length plus moving your feet equals good D. Myles and his 7’7” wingspan is just an inch or two less than Rudy Gobert’s. Ultimately how he goes so goes Rutgers‘ success defensively. The rest of the guards/small forwards are long with Jacob Young being the only smallish guy, but he has elite athleticism. I think the good news is that once you have these pieces, you should be able to reproduce good results on a nightly basis.

If we finish strong - think he's gonna get it. Projected to finish near the bottom of the conference. But instead he has a phenomenal year and gets RU to it's first tourney bid in almost 30 yrs. Dude will get the COTY and the love fest will be coming from everywhere
So far and at the end of the year if both teams make the tourney, but we know there's no guarantee on that, even though it looks very good right now.
