For some odd reason we were running some 1-2 wr sets where Carroo wasn't in. EVERY SINGLE TIME Carroo was not in the game Maryland went man and literally put all 11 guys in the box.
Every play Carroo was in there was a minimum of 1 high safety making the numbers better for running plays.
Heres what drove me nuts. Our last 3rd down, 3rd and 1 with 1:45 left, Carroo came out and we left Dre Patton in as the only WR. This resulted in 11 in the box and stuffed at the LOS. Had Caroo been in, even if he just stayed at the line without moving, it wouldve taken a guy out of the box. It's simple things like this with the coaching staff that just completely blows my mind. How can I see these things but a college football staff cannot?
