Predictions, Re: Tomorrow's Polls

I think we're in the 26-30 range.
Will be a good test case for laziness of voters and recency bias... and maybe both. If I was a voter that didn't take it that seriously - I'd look at the Net - see us in the teens there and probably put us at 25.

Won 5 of last 6 and over #1 on the road should make us top-25 but recency bias keeps us out but receiving votes.
I hear you, but I believe if we had won today, we would have been in the top 25. Oh well. We have more work to do and turn the page and get after it against Northwestern.

Keep us out of the top 25…make us earn it this week beating two teams

27th for RU

I think Providence moves into top 25 after its win over UConn. The Friars almost blew their chance of getting ranked, but survived vs. St. John's yesterday.

We are 11-5. I think this game set is back. Northwestern is ahead of us in defense efficiency, league rank and w-l. Why would we be ranked? If we win that game we certainly would be though.

Duh, we’re 11-5., Top 25? No way. Top 40 maybe. Got to learn to score 70-80 against B1G competition routinely

Just going by teams ranked in the AP, they should jump Ohio State, Baylor, and Indiana. I think they should jump Duke as well but they won't. Of the teams not ranked, they probably don't pass San Diego St, Providence, Kansas State, and possibly Michigan State after beating Michigan.

I'm saying they pass 1 team I'm not accounting for (maybe Charleston who hasn't beat anyone) and they sit at 25. I get they just lost, but no one has forgotten they just beat the #1 team on the road.

I don’t get fans. We didn’t 70 pts to beat Indiana, Ohio State or Purdue. We play elite defense. Yesterday, was a bad day — it’s not an indictment on the coaching staff or the program.
Problem is it’s really hard to play elite D every game and expect to hold teams 60-65 or less. We lack some firepower on offense but that’s who we are. So, it will be interesting to see if we can consistently bring the D. Yesterday, we lacked the energy but team will soon realize without the energy and urgency it will be tough.

And dead in the water Maryland beat OSU yesterday. Welcome to the Big 10. And we hardly got drubbed, just your standard L.
I was impressed that we pulled it together when it was clear we were tired and dragging from the start. It could have been a 30 point loss with the way that Iowa was shooting.

I just found out defensive strategy to be bad yesterday. It took until the second half of the second half to drop the post double. Outside of the kid who was unconsciously draining everything this gave them fits. Like I also said yesterday, I’d rather a hard fought 2 from them as opposed to wide open theees because we chose to overhelp. Iowa is a team we should of played 100% man or a 3-2

Elite D is easier to be consistent with than elite O. Pike has the elite D down. Yesterday they ran up against an elite O that also brought their D. Iowa just had their A+ game and Rutgers did not. Lots of letters… 😂

Not sure if polls are out yet, but I expect to see Rutgers in all of them...

FYI, Ohio State was missing their center. Still, a good result for Maryland, all things considered.

ETA: sorry, didn't mean to sound like an a-hole. I was agreeing with you...
