PREVIEW: Rutgers Hoops set to host Indiana Hoosiers later today

OPENING TIP: Rutgers hosts Indiana Wednesday evening at a sold-out RAC, the second-straight sell-out at the venue and the third in five games. The Scarlet Knights are 11-0 at home this season and will play their first Big Ten Conference game while receiving votes. RU, which garnered one vote in the AP Poll for two weeks in November 2016, received votes in both the AP (8) and Coaches (18) Polls on Monday. The last time the program was ranked was in the final poll of the 1978-79 season (18).

According to ESPN's BPI, the Scarlet Knights are projected to have the nation's 11th-toughest schedule for the remainder of the season.
