Moving to the purple lot for the first time this year, from silver. Any tips from the veterans of the lot?

Fastest exit to 287N after the game?
Closest indoor bathroom?

Been there since '97. My best advice is light the grill after the game, have a burger and 2 beers before even trying to get out. This week shouldn't be an issue with the heat and expected easy win people will be leaving early.

I tailgate in the purple lot (front left when looking from the swim center) ... Overall its a good place to tailgate. Pavement is great when it rains although can make it hot if the sun is high. The swim center is hardly ever open, you can walk to some buildings past black lot ... There are port-a-potties scattered around the lot which is convenient. Getting out to 287 is relatively easy, make a right out of the lot, right at the circle and follow the crowd to the end of the road make another right and you will see a sign for 287 ... Sorry I dont know hte names of the roads involved.

Go RU

You can always walk over to the Busch Student Center if you want to go to the bathroom indoors.

If you're bringing a grill, consider bringing some shims to level it, as the lot does slope down towards the Werblin Center.

As noted above, it is pavement, so on hot days it makes it feel even hotter. Conversely, it is a bit of a blessing on colder days.

The CORE building is usually open and the nearest/best place to get to a real non port-a-potty bathroom.

technically the CORE building is locked, but someone always gets in somehow and props the door open. men's room, first floor to the right, women's room to the left

I understand that Knightingale service is available in the Purple lot for those too hammered to walk to the stadium.
