This year isn't nearly as rough as last year. Win or lose as we have, Minnesota and Northwestern are having down years. Other teams are up and down. We're doing pretty well overall here at RU.

How many top guys in the B1G are currently redshirting this year?

I remember hearing Minnesota had a bunch of guys? Who else would have top guys in their lineup if they weren't sitting out the year?

Obviously we have DelVecchio and Theo redshirting this year, although I'm not sure exactly if DelVecchio would have a place in the lineup this year if everybody was wrestling their best.

I think theo and delvechio are the two most prominent red shirts expected to make the line up next year. Scott at 133 and theo likely at 149 although that has been debated on this board. Kremiller at 197 maybe red shirting as well and could be in the mix at 197.

tough to know how everything will pan out based just on these rankings but it's an overview.

Johnny Sebastian should be back for Northwestern from another injury. Not sure if he'll drop from 184 to 174. NW Wrestlng in a strange place right now. NJ champ Sebastian Rivera committed there as well.

Can I ask what we're expected out of Gonzalez? He had a few good lower-level RS tournaments this year. Do we think he can start? Fill in when needed? Is he going to go up in weight? Stay where he is?

PSU has Cortez at 133. Think Jimmy will come back down there next year but who knows. We also have Beitz at 157 who was a starter last year but needed to get stronger. Shakur split time with Morelli, but he isn't a 165...way too big.

I know Iowa has Kemerer at 149 and OSU has Hayes at 141.

You missed Cortez at 133 but nice break down.

Interested to see what PSU does with six time state champion Mark Hall. Probably #2 P4P guy behind Lee.

Beitz walked out with the seniors on senior night. He's finished even though he had a year of eligibility left. Ohio State also has Isaiah White at 157/165. Michigan has a monster 165 redshirt in Logan Massa.

Interesting. Didn't know that Beitz was done.
