I'm not Brian, but I recall when Coach Jordan first met with the team he stressed being respectful, even to the point of telling the players to remove their hats when indoors. So I have a strong feeling coach is on this.
But, I'm certain it is for all of the other programs, including football.
Leonte Caroo is one of the most respectful young men I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with. This whole thing really surprised me...but then again, it wouldn't be the first time.
Ultimately the coach isn't out there making life choice for these kids, you know?
Brian,
You are right. Coaches should not be blamed in any way for players, who are actually adults, throwing their schollie and life away. Now if the Star-Liar and nj.com would just start reporting that.
Didn't Mack run into trouble recently. Coaches can pound this into a kid's head, but in the end these are 18-22 years that are bound to do some questionable stuff. It's just in NJ they will pay dearly for it once the press gets a hold of it. Valid reason to avoid RU if you are a recruit. On the other hand, if you can deal with the sleaziness, it will prepare you for the rest of your life.
