Hi folks. What questions would you ask of Pat Hobbs or Chris Ash if you had some one on one time with them?

I would ask Hobbs how long does he estimates it will take to fully fund the facilities build fund. Basically, how is fundraising doing? Is it a strong as he had hoped.

I would ask Ash how competitive he feels the team can be this season

I would ask Ash how he would recruit kids of higher character and drive than the great young men Rutgers has had for many years.

why wasnt Bobby Acosta or another coach who has NJ ties ,central NJ,Northern NJ hired after the Partridge project was shot down?? I have heard it wasnt about money. For a new staff however, not from the area, trying to make relationships in a short time period, its a no brainer to this date.

uh?

as an Asst Coach..not the head Coach..if thats what you are asking RUthinking

why is this weird? Perhaps the OP has an upcoming opportunity to talk to either Hobbs &/or Ash and wants to have some intelligent questions to ask instead of "hey, when are we going to get better chicken fingers and more men's rooms on the lower level"

If the OP is important enough to have a Q & A with either one of them then I'd have to question why they'd come here for questions to ask. There's not much intelligence here.

I beg to differ. There's plenty of low intelligence here.

I know. I is one.

Ash: Do you regret your decision to coach the Fiesta Bowl, given the backlash of certain Scarlet Nation posters who can't get over it?

Hobbs: Do you regret allowing Coach Ash to coach the Fiesta Bowl, given the backlash of certain Scarlet Nation posters who can't get over it?

We already know the answer to this question.

Maybe he wants to ask a question on behalf of the peanut gallery....this is the perfect place to come for that.

Are you forgetting the group that got themselves arrested back in August?

To Pat Hobbs I would ask: what, exactly, is your postition with Eddie Jordan's future at Rutgers.

Regarding Coach Ash, his son has started the ball rolling. He asked "can we win?" Dad replied: yes. His son's next question was "can we be ranked?" Dad replied: yes. So, feet to the fire, I want to know if he can recruit a top 30 class next year; I want to know when he will get a winning record, and when he gets us into the ranked listing. After all, he told his son he could do it, so I would want to hear some more details, like WHEN.

What efforts are coming to recruit Southern New Jersey players and market to SNJ potential fans ?

Is there anything, besides facilities, that you need in order to compete with the best of the Big 10 East?

You seem to have made an effort to recruit size over speed on the D line. Is that accurate?

Do you prefer a one back offense, or will we see a rotation in the back field?

Apparently the brilliant hiring of Rich Mantz was either complete missed, or isn't good enough, for the 2 of you?

I was saying we already know the answer of this question.....as in why know why Ash hired who he did and that coaches with Jersey ties means nothing.
