There is a really cool website that athletics launched that shows renderings of the new basketball, wrestling, volleyball, gymnastics, lax/soccer/tennis, and football facilities that they hope to build in the near future. With $25 million from the state, they hope to raise another $100 million to fund the rest of these projects. There are even pages showing what things can be funded/naming rights bought to. The coolest part though I think is the floor plans. Makes everything seem so real!! Go play around:

This is the time for the Rutgers community and businesses surrounding it to step-up. If it doesn't happen now, it is never going to.

So are they putting tennis courts by Yurcak? I thought the original capital plan had tennis courts on Livingston.

it would be a good way for Ray Rice to be welcomed back into the family
Highly doubt that Ray has money to be throwing around. I don't think he grossed more than 5 million in the NFL and now he's locked out.

Am I correct that no current coach at Rutgers has made more money than Coach Stringer while at Rutgers ?

These pivotal projects will result in additional critical training space and will have a dramatic and wide-ranging impact on all 24 athletic programs and on the 600 student-athletes who represent Rutgers on a national stage.

I'm in, but... damn. $100MM to support 600 students. And I know this isn't even that much, relative to our peers. College athletics is out of control.

Am I correct that no current coach at Rutgers has made more money than Coach Stringer while at Rutgers ?
To be fair, has any current coach been at Rutgers anywhere near as long as she has?

Drew, some would say that she should donate more than anyone else because of that reason. And yes, I do know she can't be throwing money all over the place because of her daughter. I would certainly want to make sure she is provided for in the years to come.
