R.I.P. Dennis Gregory former RU Dir Basketball Operations

I saw a number of heartfelt tributes on Twitter, including the one below from Seth Greenberg, to Dennis Gregory, former Rutgers University Head of Basketball operations. It appears Dennis passed away unexpectedly over the weekend or late last week.



I met Dennis after he had left RU. My son played for his AAU program, the Raritan Roundballers (in 9th Grade), and Dennis was always willing to help him by reaching out to any of the numerous D-III coaches he knew on my son's behalf. He always struck me as just a really good guy, and as another AAU Coach once told me "Dennis knows everybody".His last role was Assistant AD at D-II Caldwell College, I believe. Did anyone know him during his time at RU?

As Seth Greenberg stated, Gregory was a basketball lifer. He ate, drank and slept the sport.
