Really looking forward to tomorrow despite the so-so tailgate weather forecast. Specifically, I think Hicks should be getting the majority of the carries against the Cougars. Best way to defeat an air raid offense is to slow down the game with the run and give them less opportunities to hit those big plays.
Despite the easy matchup last weekend, Hicks really performed well and to me he looks like he should be our starter at this point. All respect to PJ, I just think we are really that deep at RB and it's a really good problem to have. Hicks runs like an SEC back and I think this game will provide plenty of chances to dominate through the run.
Let Martin and Goodwin spell both Hicks and PJ for a few carries here and there, but I think we ought to see what Hicks can do with 20+ carries every week. Hope he gets the chance.
