There was a good turnout of the faithful last night at Mike's in East Hanover. The usual giveaways, Rs, cups, etc. Notable football alumi included Marco Bataglia, Brian Leonard, Jamaal Westerman. Jamaal M-Ced the night. Brian talked about playing 8 years in the NFL (how time flies) and is hoping to play another year. He said there are few teams interested. We got the Brian Leonard chant going.

Julie introduced a few coaches, softball, lacrosse (men's and women's), field hockey, gymnastics, wrestling, and of course Kyle Flood. The Lambert trophy and QuickLane trophy were on display. Julie also introduced an 8 minute video of athletics and I must say I'm impressed with the quality of our productions.

There was a quick "stump Tom Luicci" Rutgers trivia game with prizes.

So I encourage anyone to attend upcoming R Tour events. It's a chance to talk to everyone in the Athletic Department.

Yep, it was pretty good. My buddy and I were at the corner of the outer bar near the entrance. Got a chance to talk with JH, KF, BL and Sam from Scout. All in all it was a good time, with the only downside being that the owner is a narcissistic person who thinks he's all that when he ain't.

Pretty great time overall. I really do think every RU fan needs to go to at least one of these at some point. Got a chance to talk with JH and KF as well. Anyone thinking about Cherry Hill next week?

Kyle Flood never breaks character. Every answer is like its a press conference. I guess most head coaches talk in coach-speak.
