PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers women's basketball's all-time leading shot blocker, Rachel Hollivay, has signed a training camp contract with the WNBA's New York Liberty, it was announced on Monday.

Hollivay will be entering her third season in the WNBA after being selected with the first pick in the second round and 13th overall by the Atlanta Dream in 2016.

The Columbus, Mississippi native averaged 7.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game in her senior campaign at Rutgers in 2016 earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten and Big Ten All-Defensive Team honors.

Hollivay became the only Scarlet Knight in women's basketball history with over 300 career blocks and multiple seasons with over 100 rejections. During the 2015-16 campaign, she swatted away 112 opponent shots putting her name fifth nationally in total blocks and second on RU's single season blocks leaders list.

More recently, Hollivay played with Buducnost Bemax in Montenegro earning WABA MVP honors in November and with Blue Minx in South Korea during the offseason.
