And his defense is dinged up. Starting nose tackle lost for season and backup freshman is out for three weeks. And starting linebacker out for season too.

The coach speak is all pretty much similar. I like the way James Franklin handled the needling he got after the Army game yesterday. He went on the offensive and said he knew they had work, but he was going to remain positive. Urban Meyer said similar things after tOSU game.

Wonder if UMd has the boosters to buy out Edsall. They have UnderArmour money, but not sure if that is for buying out coaches.

I'm pretty sure Edsall has a pretty hefty (relatively speaking) buyout this year, so he is probably getting another year..even if it gets ugly this year.

Even before this season started I thought Edsall would have a rough year and possibly lose his job after the season. RU at least has the excuse that our team stinks because of all the off field issues. Maryland has no excuse, they just suck.
I just can't see how they can keep him if they are last in the East. Also don't be surprised to see Haskins decommit, which would be the death knell for Edsall.
