Rutgers Rankings Update: Jan. 9



For the fourth consecutive week, Rutgers wrestling remained No. 17 in the latest USA Today/National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division I Coaches Poll, released Tuesday afternoon. The ranking comes after the Scarlet Knights (3-3, 1-2 Big Ten) suffered a hard-fought loss to No. 2 Ohio State, 29-11, with three individual victories:

Which translates into possibly six guys, plus Ash if he was back, making at least the blood rounds. That’s even better than expected. The Lewis/JVB switch could end positively.

Still a long ways to go though.
