You have to have that rule otherwise teams will abuse. Places like Bama, Texas, Auburn etc., will have no qualms about funding a program like wrestling and just using it to stack half of it with FB players who are "dual athletes". Or stick them on Track schollies thereby denying real track athletes an opportunity. It's the only way to keep integrity. Unfortunately, the few and far between kids like Gross have limited options.
