Really love to see a win on Wednesday

...to me...a win Wednesday solidifies the year one improvement under our new coaching staff...

From 7-25 to 15-18 (I can't dare hope for 16-18....at this point)....with our competitive brand going up drastically from where we were 12 months ago to the day....puts the program clearly on the right track

I think it would be huge for this team to actually get back to back big ten wins...and put the seed in the ground for a MAJOR off season for S&C and skill development. Almost all of the players on this roster have UPSIDE skill improvement that can be made this offseason that can make this a better team for 17-18....and we need ONE more year of S&C to get this program close to the rest of the big ten....

Cant underestimate the importance of going into this offseason with some confidence and hunger to attack and improve for 2017-2018

I don't have my hopes up because EVERY team raises their level in the tournament, and OSU is thinking the same thing about us (ok it's winnable let's get to NW etc) so I'm not going to let whatever happens in the game affect my judgement of this season. I am beyond happy and really excited to watch Rutgers basketball again. Another impact player or 2 plus some development and we pull out more of those close games. Can't wait. For B1G, playing with house money so here goes nothing

I'm glad we get another crack at OSU and it's on a neutral court. Regardless of whether we win or lose, I count this season as very successful, because we have a terrific coach and assistant coaches who know how to get things done, which will get us to the big dance in the near future.

Winning a league tournament game surely would help perception going into next season.I also believe that bringing in 2 shooters prior to the 2017-18 season will have a greater impact because that would address the programs greatest need right now.

Beating Ohio state would be great. The real benefit would come beating Northwestern.

You aren't checking out of the hotel for a long time. You are playing in front of a real crowd on Friday vs Maryland. It will have the feel like you are in the tournament.

I'd imagine a sparse crowd on Thursday that still won't have the feel of being in the B1G tournament. The crowd on Wednesday with be pathetic.
