It was a nice surprise, and quite frankly almost shocking, to see an article in The Record this morning about a North Jersey kid, especially one from a major parochial school, commit to Rutgers for a major sport and then speak so glowingly about RU. I'm so used to seeing these types of articles, particularly recently, on kids going to PSU (like a certain wrestler commit last week) and other "big name" (or even lesser name) programs for whatever sport. This was a refreshing read to start to the day... cheers to Joe Neglia and best of luck to him on the mound at RU!
