RU @ SHU is this Saturday: Ticket Price Thread

These prices were always too high to begin with and SHU is going to take a bath on this. If they properly priced these tickets before the season, RU would have easily brought 3K fans or more to the 10K lower bowl.

Now that RU has lost 2 in a row, some casual RU fans are not paying $100 bucks per ticket and 25 bucks to park. If the prices drop to a $40 level, maybe there will be some walk up last minute buyers, but I don't sense any appetite for $125 seats.

The game is sold out.

Devils charge $35 to park
SHU?

There was a weekday game a few weeks ago where the price of the game on stubhub WITH fees downstairs was actually less than the $35 parking.

Rutgers has a wealthy fanbase , Dylan Harper just verballed, $85 to sit center court in comfortable seats should certainly not be an issue for most RU fans

Thats today's price, it wasn't there a week ago. And we all know that games are "sold out" and are at 75% actual people in the building.

In every sports venue, Some sold out games are jam packed while others have more no shows.

I keep hearing how RU has big NIL and a very financially successful alumni base.

Alums they live in North Jersey, especially Hudson, Bergen and Essex County should be scooping up these resale tickets since Pru Center is in their backyard.

This one will probably have a true 10,400 in the stands. Mostly SHU fans. I do love rooting for RU but as it is a Seton Hall home game I will be wearing blue tomorrow.

Cheapest ticket on StubHub as of this morning is $63, and that’s in the end zone section.

most likely going against MSU. I am guessing best time to buy is 1 hour before tip on secondary markets.

Anyone buy cheaper late?

Advantage 🙄. The Devils arena is a lame atmosphere for shu college hoops. By the way that 10%-20% in Red made themselves heard. RU chants came through loud and clear on the TV broadcast several times tonight.
Well, Pirates stink this year and fans never really had anything to cheer about all game long. As soon as tipoff happened it was clear who would win.

Not tip-off but early in the 2nd half.

The Rock has had very good atmosphere for college hoops when SHU had good teams and played teams like Nova , Mish St, Texas

I’d like to see RU fans pack the The Rock vs Miss St on the 23rd. I don’t want to see excuses why a good crowd can’t be drawn
