It seems to me that on all of these write ups about the player's visits there is one common thread and that is the basic honesty and forthwriteness - if that's a word - with the recruits from every coach involved. Every recruit has said he loved the visit, loved the academics, loved the campus - dorms etc.
If they are telling the truth and then decide to go elsewhere NO ONE CAN BLAME OUR STAFF for not being able to close the deal. I say this because if they have done everything in their power to get the recruit to commit and he doesn't it wasn't for lack of effort it was because the recruit felt more comfortable somewhere else.
Since Flood became head coach the recruiting has been on a tremendous uptick. I think it's because he is growing into that part of being a head coach and improving the coaches now on staff.
