So, as a service to the Board, I thought I would summarize the status of the coaching search as of 8 PM Tuesday night, December 1, 2015 ... In the last 4 hours we have had DEFINITIVE posts citing:
1) Golden is a done deal (citing tweets and whispers in ears).
2) Cristobal is a done deal (citing tweets and whispers in ears).
3) RU will go for - and maybe get - a Big Kahuna ... Name might be revealed by Board posters Wednesday, deal done Thursday ... mainly dependent on said Big Kahuna meeting RU powers that be. Rumored names: Dan Mullen, Mark Richt, Chip Kelley ... maybe Jim Tressell (more a couple of posters' speculation, no whispers).
Other rumors, that might affect RU, but not RU specific:
1) Schiano turned down an offer from UCF because he was waiting for the Miami offer - because he felt he did well in the interview with Miami.
2) Butch Davis to Miami is pretty much a done deal.
3) Mullen to Miami or Georgia seems likely.
4) Ruehle to Missouri ... or Ruehle NOT to Missouri.
