It’s a fair article and everyone in the RAC last night is disappointed in the season to date so need for outrage on what was written.
Stupid article IMO. He could have taken a different path. Of course we are disappointed , that is not that hard to figure out. I sat their last night and was impressed how every section of the RAC was packed and loud. The student section SRO.
I watch a lot of basketball and am sometimes surprised to see so many empty seats at some games. We all remember 10 or so years ago when no one was sitting in the 300's. Article could have been "Rutgers fans still supporting their team during a difficult season" .

Nothing wrong with that at all. Everyone is disappointed. Some are “bitterly”, some are “devastated”, but EVERYONE is some level disappointed. Newsflash, Capt. Obvious.
I have no problem with the article. The fanbase should be disappointed and ticked off on how Pike botched a once in a lifetime opportunity. I think a better coach could have done more with this flawed roster around Ace and Dylan. We have no business losing to both Kennisaw and Princeton. Should have at least split those. If we could have won 2 out of 3 against Iowa, State Penn and Indiana, we would have been in position for NCAA tourney instead of struggling to qualify for league tourney. I would have trusted at least 12 of the other 17 B1G coaches to do better than Pike with this roster. Should a shame.

Lanni reads the board. That article could have quoted most of us. The only thing missing is the lack of NIL resources is the biggest reason we have the supporting cast we have.
The team and Pike gets bashed on a daily basis. Compared to the fans this real journalist is more than fair. This player that player sucks on a daily basis. Pike is treated even worse. Everyone started to really hate the paper once you had to pay for it. I get it but the article is more than fair. What is it only fake die hards can bash the team? This season has been a huge letdown but if you read the game threads you would think you fake diehards donated money towards the construction of this team. There are threads on the many who are giving up their seats lol. Short memory with this fanbase.
It’s a real article from a real journalist with actual quotes who gets paid to spend hour upon hour on Rutgers sports. Not a recap with nothing new to learn.
