Schiano was smart to go to FL when he first got the job. As much as we wanted Jersey guys, the stigma of losing was too great at time to convince all the good ones to come here. He had connections down there, and managed to get some good players. Had we not had those Florida kids, not sure Schiano would have made us respectable.
