Rutgers Athletics expected to sign new apparel contract with Nike

Rutgers Athletics has signed a new apparel deal, reuniting with Nike.

I feel like Addidas was pretty good to us.
Their fan gear was pretty good but very limited .

Curious what others think of the two companies from a fan perspective and from the schools perspective (financial, partnership, ability to recruit)

Nike had a far wider selection.
Never thought Adidas was all in with RU.
Maybe great to the players but meh to the fans.

Having seen what both brands offer fans as it pertains to RU...the clear choice at least for me was Adidas. Not close

You’re speaking previously, right? It’s possible Nike ups what they offer with a new deal. Personally I like Nike apparel better.

Agreed here. We dont know what the new contract will offer us.

Clearly I would prefer Jordan Brand but that doesn't seem likely.
