Does the program understand how devastating it would be if we didn't make the tournament?
We took a regular home game and took a loss playing in Ken State?

simply horrific decision making. The Kennesaw State game never should have been on that schedule and why couldnt Pike showcase the program vs Nova at Pru Center....you are telling me that they wanted Maryland instead..lol

I just don't understand how RU couldn't get a non-conference game to work. Except for St. John's all other regular season games at MSG are non-conference. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

Beating up say FDU at home in place of Kennesaw St game does no good. He took a swing and missed. Non Conf Road game wins are valuable to the resume. For years myself and others beat him up over scheduling, he finally did what we asked, a non conference feast week tourney, and challenging road and neutral site games. The problem is, RU didn’t win. we won’t have to worry about the schedule or resume if they don’t start stacking wins.

Bigger issue with Pike is not bringing in a starting caliber veteran big man, and instead, did his usual off season sell job of his mediocre player working harder than anyone in Ogbole. And to keep Lathan happy. Poor choice, as neither seem to rim protect or rebound. That lack of a move will end up costing this team big

Anyone who blasts Pike for the Kennesaw game is being silly and small thinking.

We lost the game cuz we’re not that good right now. Not because of the 3k fans (maybe 1k of those had red on). We got challenged by teams much weaker at home and had to pull a defeat from the grips of death at home as well.

If we’re running scared of an away game at Kennesaw then what are we doing here.

Agree the MSG game should’ve been non conference against a marquee opponent. We have leverage for our product this season , how was that not capitalized on ?!?
