For a decade, Rutgers University has conducted a festive open house dubbed Rutgers Day at the New Brunswick and Busch campuses to entice prospective students and showcase the university's many resources to taxpayers and alumni. This year's Rutgers Day is Saturday, April 28.
The first year, 2009, saw 75,000 visitors attending about 350 exhibits, demonstrations and lectures, where they learned about student activities, got insights about class content and science demonstrations, learned about solar energy in cars, and much more.
