SMH X100. Why for shit's sake would anyone want to watch RU beat the crap out of Central Connecticut from 11/13/18??? Who decides what games are televised, RU, or BTN?? Adding to the stupidity they put on our game vs Wisconsin in BIG10 tournament at 2AM.There are literally dozens of games way more deserving that could of been shown. :Angry
I'm with you K80. Yes, the milestone is worthy of being aired but not necessarily that whole game, when you think of all the other games that we would love to see. The milestone could be shown in a re-airing of the 30-minute Scarlet Knight show (hosted by Bruce Beck I believe??) that covered it. .......... Wisconsin game???? In comparison to all the other classics that we've mentioned in prior posts??? If it has to be from the Big10, there are numerous other games that are more fitting as a showcase for RU Women's BBall.
I would think RU Day is a collection of games/events that bring back fond memories and prideful moments in the hearts of the Scarlet Knight community and fanbase. I can give the milestone game the benefit of the doubt, even though there is nothing about the actual game that stands out in my memory.
Like I said before, other schools and conferences are showcasing their best and most impressive games of the past which serve as strong recruiting tools. Our game with Wisconsin, an early round game, by no means is going to wow any young recruit. No disrespect to the Badgers. We have better and more impactful options!
