Rutgers Has $40 Tickets for Iowa Game

We may be in the Big Ten, but you'd never guess it from our fans and local enthusiasm for college football. Iowa finished in the Top-25 last year and it's probably coach Kirk Ferentz and Iowa's first visit to Piscataway. We are discounting tickets for this intriguing match-up? If there are programs in the Big Ten we should aspire to, Iowa is one of them. Is the real problem that Rutgers gets blown out too often and compelling games are few and far between to draw the interest of the casual local college football fan, even in the early Fall when weather is often not an issue?

Not sure if we are discounting. The cheapest ticket price on SK.com is $45 not $40 and that is for corner end zone or upper level corners. Want sideline seats? More like $100 per for 40 yard line.

Rutgers fans are still trying to figure out, Where in the hell is Iowa? Yes it is a very good football team. They have a great coach. And yes they grow a lot of corn there.

This game has been chosen by the School of Engineering to be its alumni nerds tailgate party and game of the season. So we can't lose.

I'd like to attend. But what time is kickoff?

George Street,
No kickoff time announced yet--that will be up to the TV networks.
