That was great. Nice job. Made me laugh hearing him get worked up. :joy:LOL that was me... I figured he would s**t on us as always but just wanted to throw the "Not ST Johns" jab in there when he said every team has a good record. Long time caller first time listener line was on purpose BTW.
That is the most bizarre auto correct i have ever seen.F you autocorrect !
I hate Francesca but I can't disagree with a single thing he says. He even adMitsubishi that St. Johnson stinks. what is there to disagree with or get worked up about?
You should have made up teams that Rutgers beat. "We beat UMass. We beat Wichita State. We beat Memphis". Not like this guy would be checking.LOL that was me... He's dumb and I wonder why some people continue to listen to him. I took a picture with him and Mad Dog back in the day at a spring game for the Frank Burns award. I found that picture a month ago and the first thing I did was burn it. Turns out I had a second picture my daughter found a few days ago...sh*t life is cruel.
And he can't hold a candle to anyone on XM radioMike's the best. That's his attraction to half the listeners - his inaccuracies, berating of callers, out of control ego, out of touch opinions , etc. It's like a sports comedy show. Still better than nearly everybody on ESPN radio.
This comment is buffoonery if you are referring to the College Sports channel. Most of them are amateurs. I hate Francesa, but your comment is nonsense for the College Sports channel. And he can't hold a candle to anyone on XM radio
That contradicts what he said yesterday, of course. He spent at least 10 minutes in his opening talking about how it's retractable and that Dallas could've / should've left the roof open because they were playing a Florida team. But of course Dallas hasn't ever employed that as a game strategy ever and the people who pay a fortune for seats would've been livid if they had to sit in freezing weather when the place could be 70 degrees.
Based on your comment I take it you don't listen to the station. The so called amateurs you speak of are people who have been in the business a long time. Guys like Packer and people who have actually played sports at a college or professional level and last but not least those who actually coached at those levels. This comment is buffoonery if you are referring to the College Sports channel. You need to turn on SiriusXM's College Sports station and listen. The guys in the morning are embarrassing amateurs. So is the slobbering fool they have on at midday. Billy Packer's son's partners on his show are broadcast nobodies. The days of Bill King, Tim Brando, and Paul Finebaum have been over for a long time. The current broadcasters are promotional shills -- charmless, unsophisticated, witless, and their interviews stink. I think that if you are in the talk show business not belitteling, talking down to your listeners, hanging up on your callers, having an astute understanding of what your discussing on the air etc is what makes one a pro. Unfortunately Francesa has none of these qualities
But isn't that the norm now? Everyone wants to be someone, but offer nothing of value. The days of Bill King, Tim Brando, and Paul Finebaum have been over for a long time. The current broadcasters are promotional shills -- charmless, unsophisticated, witless, and their interviews stink. Did I miss anything?
yes having any knowledge of what you talking about. other than that I guess you missed nothing.and fyi I listen to xm radio all day when driving and learn a lot more than I would listening to mr. personality on the fanYou need to turn on SiriusXM's College Sports station and listen.
