Lots to unpack here today!

— Steve Pikiell and Brandin Knight had a visit with Ace Bailey and his parents this weekend. They were headed down to Atlanta for an induction ceremony for Jim Calhoun and made a pit stop in Chattanooga to see the Bailey’s. Everything went really well and Bailey is all set to sign in early November.

— Sticking with Bailey, his high school team is expected to play in several big games this upcoming season. First one will be in early December where his Georgia based team will make the trip up to Chattanooga, Tennessee and is expected to play a big name opponent, still not announced yet. After that they will head to Florida for the City of Palms Classic, where they will face off against Dylan Harper and Don Bosco Prep.

— Speaking of Harper, sounds like he is getting closer to scheduling those visits that everyone is talking about. Word is that Auburn will be first up, with a potential visit coming as early as this upcoming weekend. However TKR has learned that the Tigers aren’t much of a threat here, even with them likely to get a visit. He is also working out a potential trip to Kansas and a lot are speculating it will be the same weekend as Cooper Flagg’s visit which starts on October 6th, the same weekend as the Jayhawks Late Night in the Phog event. Finally last, but not least is the Rutgers visit, which is rumored to be happening on Homecoming weekend aka October 13th.

— While Harper is not yet confirmed for the Rutgers homecoming weekend visit yet, TKR has confirmed that Bryce Dortch, Lathan Sommerville and Ace Bailey are expected to be on campus that weekend for visits of their own. Waiting to hear back from Dylan Grant, but sounds like the staff would ideally like to get the whole class on campus.
