We are a spot up shooter or two short of having this program turn the corner .
PS ... I hate seeing LSU as high as they are. Its so obvious they have cheated on the recruiting trail. They're named in all those sneaker company cases. They were a bottom barrell program and all of a sudden were pulling in multiple 5 stars a class . Don't wish good things for that program, especially since they got a couple of Jersey guys with that style of recruiting

I understand the sentiment and agree with you, but I wish we could have threads about how well Pikiell is doing without immediately making a comparison to that other guy
Posted in another thread: we lost our #1, #2 and #4 scorers off last years team. And the league is (much) better this year. Fantastic job by this staff and these kids.
True, but that also applies to everyone else on the list as well. Fact is, this team has opened a lot of eyes that were closed before.
Are there really any assumptions other than last year's performance included in the early season KenPom ratings?
But, but ... we were supposed to be so much worse without Corey. (Yes, I just like pushing buttons.)
It definitely took this team some time to grow and learn how to not lean on Cory during difficult spots in the game. Geo helped the team pass that exam with flying colors on Sunday.
Thanks for sharing this - great to see! Interesting to see Pitt right up there with Capel. He inherited a mess too.
Corey is long gone. We must stop bringing him up. Every year he became a distraction as to whether he would be back or not. If he returned everything would have run through him again. He only shot 23 % on threes. I think it was for the best that he moved on. I wish him the best but i like it to have guys who want to be here and make our team better. We are depending now on so many different guys.
Here's something around their preseason rankings. Looks like they include departing players, new recruits (but only the Top 30), transfers, and players coming off injury.
