Everytime Thiam fails to pull the trigger he costs us points. When you have a deadly shooter on your team, he has to shoot. It spreads the floor and opens other opportunities, but anybody watching film will see that even when he has time to shoot, if you send a defender at him he lost always pulls the ball back down. He's 6' 9" tall, nobody is going to get his shot. Larry Bird was slow, and they used to describe him as "the master of the half inch," because that's all he needed to get his shot off. I'd be happy if Thiam became the Master Of the Half Yard, because that's how much room he regularly has. If he became a constant threat it would change what we could do with our offense.I continue to be impressed with Pikiell as he responds to questions from the media..I think practice the next couple days will be even more intense.Where the scoring will come from remains a unknown game to game.
