Gymnastics Collects Four Event Titles at Maryland


Rutgers gymnastics collected four event titles and a total of eight top-3 finishes in a Big Ten dual meet at Maryland on Sunday in College Park. Freshman Hannah Joyner claimed the all-around and beam title, while senior Shannon Farrell captured the bar title and classmate Kaitlyn Hall earned the vault title. The Scarlet Knights posted a 194.000 as a team overall.

I read through all that but couldn't figure out which team won the meet. There was no mention of UMd's score. So RU won 4 events titles and I believe that women compete in just 4 events. But did the team outscore UMd overall?

That's too bad. Sounds as though they had greater depth since we swept all of the first places, if I understood the article correctly.
