Rutgers Men’s Basketball Breaks Season Tickets Sold Record for 2022-23 Season

Are the 300 level seats sold also as season tickets? Are they required to keep seats open for the general public?

There are still single game tickets and mini plans available for many games.

How can you sell out of season tickets? In other words, there are no seats that are available for every home game? Seems like you sell out of season tickets when all seats besides the student section are accounted for

There is probably a portion reserved for season tickets that sold out. Either way, we sold a bunch of tickets before the season started.

Teams break down allotment in different ways
Rutgers potential breakdown:

Capacity - 8k
Season tix - 6k
Mini plans - 1k
Students / Band - 500
Visiting team allotment - 250
Press, special guests, etc - 150
Single games - 300

This is just a ballpark as the #'s don't add up.

Each school does it differently, but they probably combine season tix and mini plans as season tix (6k), between band and students there's more than 500, visiting team could get 400, single games could have 500, etc.

But there's still single games available to everything but Smurfs, Walmart and Hoosier

For now!
I believe the season will be completely sold out prior to the Indiana game (12/3).
A major push and discount will be needed for some of the earlier games like Columbia (already happening) and especially Sacred Heart.
