Rutgers names 4 Captains

Offensive linemen Chris Muller and Derrick Nelson and defensive linemen Julian Pinnix-Odrick and Darius Hamilton were named team captains for 2016. All four are seniors.
Hamilton is the first 3 time Captain in RU's football team history!
Not really if you read the article and Ash's quote:

Guys that throw and catch look flashy on the highlight shows. But it's not what really counts.

I think last years team leadership failed in not knowing what was up with those incidents and cutting them off before they could happen. Hopefully all have lived and learned from it.
As for the QB thing.. anyone who is starting QB/captain and has to sit out the opening game (albeit for a half) has wasted that opportunity forever.

Surprised Hamilton made it for reason that Ash was pushing players that had to be on the field at all times Surprised Cioffi didnt make captain,poised to break RU interceptions record this season, always on field..
No doubt that Ash definitely wanted to be " up front " about it and that's why it ended up as such. All good choices and I'm sure a few more guys are deserving. Good luck to all.
That is a great honor. Hamilton being chosen means he is doing everything right and he must be ready to rock and roll.
When was the last time we didn't have a QB named captain? Despite his ups and downs even Nova had the honor twice.
