Rutgers owes Edsall an Apology

Best Comment on that Story:
Funny how it was fridge that engineered the 2nd half comeback
Karma I guess, once a terp always a terp. Looks like he did more for our program in that game than he did for Rutgers

I didn't keep up on Maryland in the off season, but losing to us must have made it painful for the AD to keep him on.

It was too early to fire him but he showed he wasn't going to get it done. But they too are having money issues. Sound familiar?

I would think Bo Pelini would jump at Maryland and get back into the B1G. Would Kansas coming call him when Snyder finally retires?

From Bo's Wikipedia page:

"Pelini left the NU football program with a 67–27 record, winning at least 9 games in every season. Despite this record Nebraska never won a conference title under Pelini.[20] Eichorst stated at a press conference that Pelini hadn't won "the games that really mattered" against top-tier opponents despite having significant resources at his disposal."

If the pieces could be put in place, Bo would be a great hire, and entertaining. If he were ever hired at Rutgers, NJ.com would have fun with him.

It isn't easy to get the horses needed to Nebraska now (Hence why they couldn't get over the hump the last 10yrs. 30yrs ago Tom Osborne could compete with Texas, A&M, and Oklahoma for talent.

Not anymore. Baylor and TCU is getting TOP in state talent. And now A&M is in the SEC. That is MAJOR pull.

Now throw in Rutgers keeping a few Jersey kids and Boise getting some scraps.

Good luck Nebraska

NJ.com reporters wouldnt have the balls to interview him the way they interview flood. They used to be afraid of Schiano for the most part and just make snarky comments on twitter.

So if RU doesn't make the second half comeback Flood is gone, but that they did set rh stage for Edsall to be gone. Some second half.
