Rutgers rowing will get set for its 2019 season with a scrimmage against Temple on Saturday, March 16 on the Raritan River in New Brunswick. Competition is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with the Scarlet Knights and Owls taking part in a series of five-minute races.
Rutgers will field three varsity eights and two novice eights, while Temple will race three varsity eights, two varsity fours and a novice eight, in an exhibition for both schools. Due to low tide on Saturday, racing will occur downstream from the boathouse between the Route 1 and I-95 bridges on the Raritan.
