RU wins 8-0. 3 hit shutout. 2nd game of the DH coming up soon vs Santa Clara.
Rutgers is up 3-2 middle of the 3rd. We gave up two unearned runs in the top of the 2nd on an error by the 1B with two outs.
8-2 final. Gotta love getting 2 wins without giving up a single earned run.
Nope. We used two pitchers in game one, and three other pitchers in game two.
Team needs to strengthen the depth of the rotation if they plan on actually winning B1G games this year so I'm good with this.

I don't know how strong the competition is supposed to be this weekend but I like that we used multiple pitchers yesterday, too. We have to develop some depth. It will be interesting to see how the Saturday games play out.
I’ve never heard of using 5 pitchers in a softball double header where we were in control of both games😊

Softball won the first game over Seattle 8-5 today and is up 4-0 in the 1st inning vs UC Davis in the 2nd game.

If they're pitching freshman perhaps the idea is to get the butterflies out against lower level competition so when the schedule gets tougher they have already have some innings and experience under their belt?
