Tennis’ Strong Showing Continues at Northeast Regional Championships


Rutgers' strong showing continued on Saturday at the ITA Northeast Regional Women's Championships at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center. Three Scarlet Knights will compete in the round of 16 on Sunday, comprised of sophomore Maya Jacobs in singles and freshman Kristiana Zahare and junior Jaci Cochrane in doubles.

Muzik and Fisher Advance to the Doubles Semifinals at Northeast Regional Championships



Carrying Rutgers' consistent momentum, the duo of junior Kat Muzik and freshman Tess Fisher advanced to the semi-finals of the doubles draw at the ITA Northeast Regional Women's Championships at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center on Sunday.

Tess Fisher was the NJ singles champion during her senior year of high school. Hoping she helps move the needle a bit for another sport that hasn't done well in the Big Ten. Another top player from this year's class is headed to Michigan, joining Kate Fahey also a former NJ singles champ. We need to keep these young ladies at home.

Tennis Concludes Strong Showing at Northeast Regional Championships


Junior Kat Muzik and freshman Tess Fisher concluded a strong showing for Rutgers tennis at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships, dropping a hard-fought semifinal bout in the doubles draw on Monday afternoon in Connecticut.
