I can't read past the firewall. I LOVE the part about walking with their families @ The Scarlet Walk. Does it actually say that they're NOT going to be announced pre-game (and it's usually done 20-minutes prior to kickoff when barely anyone is in there anyway, IIRC....like before the national anthem even). Thank you!

It usually was pre-game. Maybe they will crow bar the names in between Make Some Noiz, Ozzy laughing, Joe Nolan third down and the train horn.

I took my 8 year old to his first MBB game last week and it’s the same story at The RAC.

The team even came out to “Bring ‘em out” complete with smoke machine.

I remember back in 09…it was one of the things everyone that just spent 4 years or so as player or family would be so excited for.
And for some reason, Greg decided to not include family. No pre game with players and family. It really sucked as we watched it for 4 years and loved to see a player walking with his Mom or Dad on Senior Day.

I have no issue with it.. I think it is more special that way because the people that take time out of their tailgates to go to the Scarlet Walk are great fans, IMHO... and, I suspect, it will be well attended. I can see family photos by the statue.. and ample opportunity to take photos inside as well as the families will walk in with them.
