The USA TODAY Sports Board of Coaches is made up of 32 head coaches at Division I institutions. All are members of the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Wisconsin really not getting love in the coaches poll..quite odd, they beat Maryland this week while losing to Michigan State who is top 10. Meanwhile Penn State had lost 3 in a row including one to Wisconsin and only ended that streak by beating fading Ohio State. is 27
As I looked at that list of voting coaches, I believe that there is just one from each NCAA D1 bball conference. Is that correct? Are there 32 conferences with auto-bids to the tournament? It's hard to recall all of the mid-major conferences and low major conferences, but there is just one coach from the B1G, B12, Pac12, SEC, ACC, BE, AAC, A10, WCC, MWC, Big Sky, SWAC. After that, I lost track.
Can anyone confirm?
