McCabe second stall and escape by bremer. Ends 5-3 with riding for mccabe

133 delvecchio v Kingsley...delvecchio gets drastic takedown and rides out first.
Delvecchio escape and takedown, then Kingsley ESC. 4-2 plus riding now

Neutral start second for ash option

Two more takedown for AA in second. Ash let's him up but as gets taken down. 8-5. Looks like to be ridden out until 5 sec left resal to backs. End 12-5

149: short v theobold. Short is from great wrestling family and program. Two takedowns by short in first. Kenny geats takedown in second and third periods with rideout of minute.
4 wins to start is great for us. I know some backups but I like the fight.
Go RU

C'mon Dylan, let's seee what you have against the numbr 1 in the USA !!

157: paint on in for perrotti versus Dylan ness. Ness is 3x all american and #1 ranked.

That's a very tough spot for Painton to be throwned into. Of all the matches for AP to miss, this certainly isn't the one Painton was hoping for a shot, I'd bet.

Lower body injury?

If Gravina can pull the win at 165... there's a really real chance we may pull this one out...wow.. so u r saying there's a chance

This whole match is worthy of a huge asterisk if the Dardanes brothers are not injured.

Up 12-6, probably only favored in 1 more match if I read correctly. Where do we have a realistic chance to win another match and pull one out?

Sounds like the guys got a little "wake up call" Friday night. Great stuff so far hope we can hold on!

165: gravina versus kingsley...Kingsley is apple valley kid, backup to wanzek, star freshman.
Gravina taken down and ridden in first. Gravina top in second

Gravina rides out second .b standindstart third. Gravina taken down. 4-1 Minn.

174: storley#3 versus bakuckas
Lots of fighting in first. Storley is about 8 pounds of muscle bigger in thigh and hips. Also a senior.
Gets reversal and ride out second. Storley gets 5-1 win that Phil should be pleased with. I know we are never pleased with loss but Shirley is great #3.
12-12 after 7 matches.

You can see the strength disadvantage for Gravina is very hard to overcome. The technique is there, but its hard to execute when your opponent is that much stronger.

Kid needs an aggressive strength/weight program this off-season.

184: hrymack v pfarr#10
Hayden's legs getting picked off nonstop. 14-6 plus riding after two periods. Hayden must learn legs

Ditto what I said about Gravina for Hrymack. For such a long guy, he really should utilize his leverage more.

184: Hayden gets reversal and holds on. Lost by 10. Gave good last 90 seconds.

197: campo versus Schiller #1. Schiller gets takedown 2:32 in. No fight by campo to get out.
In second campo turns him, but gets out of balance. No points, Reffing is bad in a few spots. Not terrible but I don't agree and it hurt both teams in my view

1st period......3 minutes......Zero shots from Camp.

2nd period.......completely broken down.....on his stomach.....not doing much.

Reversal and rideout. Schiller up 4-0 plus riding. Painful to watch campo on belly.
Campo takedown in third. Giving up mentally. Loses 11-2.
