The scene was set for an epic day in Piscataway. The Scarlet Knights were set to host in-state rival and 22nd ranked Seton Hall for the 2019 edition of the Garden State Hardwood Classic. The game had been sold out since October and rally towels were waiting at every seat for the Scarlet-clad fan base.

This is great stuff. But I hope the team hasn’t been dwelling in this game as much as I have.
Why? Our next game isn't until next Sunday. What's the point of being a fan if you can't revel in a great win.
Unless Upstream is actually a player and not a fan, then there is nothing more ridiculous then a fan, on a fan board, telling other fan he can no longer celebrate a great victory because he has to get ready to the next game.
It makes me cringe when I see this happen.
Note to RU66. As long as the actual, you know, RU players, have moved on to the next game, it is perfectly fine for the "fans" to continue to bask in the glow of whipping their most hated rival's ass.
We as fans have exactly zero to do with preparing for how the team prepares for the next game. That is up to the actual players and coaches.
Move on to what right now? Are you expecting everyone to talk about Lafayette for five days?

I watched the entire RU/PSU A10 championship game not long ago....
sorry--but all you macho men that said in the past, win, and forget past laurels since it's not what you've done yesterday that matters are way too inconsistent--aside from that ,you guys who blow with the wind will be be saying the sky is falling, fire pike with ANY next loss and I' ve watched many replays also, I have virtually all RU bb and fb games that could be copied, so what--some just like to rub it in --good time charlies???
This is the mindset of someone winning the lottery and then talking about how much in taxes they had to pay.
66....part of me is time to move on to Lafayette, BUT the other part of me is that games like this are part of the development of the program and you have to embrace expectations in order to achieve anything in life.
I heard snickering from SHU fans in the concourse during Schiano's halftime speech saying "now he's saying he's going to beat Ohio State"....part of eventually being good at something is shooting to be great. Shoot for Ohio State and if you wind up like Iowa, mission accomplished.
The goal posts are now officially moving now. We've gotten past "not finishing last", which was the doomsday scenario because Sanders left early and this time last year, the same whiny fans were out in full force.
It has to go the other way sometimes and RU and the basketball program made 2 statements vs Wisconsin and then Seton Hall.
The ironic thing was the Wisconsin game was as impressive, but got lost in the shuffle somehow because it was Seton Hall etc. We have to embrace the success and not run from it.
There's going to be hiccups and the B1G will make this program better because of the level of play we have to match. I can't see how this process won't be fun, interesting and exciting/frustrating to go through. All depends on mindset...shedding the labels is actually more fanbase oriented than these coaches and players.
I'm not superstitious, so I don't worry about jinxes. I don't see any downside to fans watching highlights of Saturday's game a few days later.
We don't play for the team. The players and coaches need to focus. We fans need to reap some enjoyment after umpteen years of suffering. So back off there wet blanket...jeez.

This is a rare opportunity that you have a fan to enjoy two very good wins for a solid week. Normally you are back at it in 2-3 days. Fans can do what they want. The coaches and the team have to worry about avoiding a crap the bed effort vs. Lafayette. RU66 is just plain angry some days.
You better be- and make sure you are practicing defending the three-point line too! Now stop posting and back to work.
