Based in the performance list for the season so far, there will not be many top 8 finishes for Rutgers.

In addition, Frosh Boaz Madeus shattered his PB by almost 1.5 seconds to qualify for the finals in the 400 meter hurdles. His best time going in was the 9th best and his qualifying time was the 5th best. His time was only .18 second off the school record set in 2010 in a NCAA regional.
Fellow frosh Edwyn Pierre finished in 13th improving his best time by 1.83 seconds. His times improved by about 4 seconds from early in the season. If he can continue to improve, he could be a qualifier for the finals in the future.
