I'll continue to update and edit the OP, but it's hard to analyze much about these results other than a winner and a loser. @wngarbarini could perhaps provide more insight whether or not some of the closer matches are due to the level of the talent in the room is increasing, or the fact these wrestlers really know each other from scrapping every day.

Early results that pop out:
Deluca vs. Santos (Nick Santos lost the Beast of the East to Sammy Sosa, stud recruit, 5-1 a couple years back.)
Pagano vs. Scott (OT)

You can see why Goodale is not in favor of wrestle-offs.

A lot of close scores. Has to be hard wrestling teammates who know your strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, etc on a daily basis.

What pops out to me. (2 things)

1. Agree Deluca vs. Santos, Deluca being a 5th year senior and Santos being a true freshman (walk on).

2. Firestone - taking two losses like that is surprising, especially the one to Dinapoli. staying on 133 that is a nice win for Delvechhio 14-2 over Mackall, like seeing him score points like that.

Still expecting big things from DeLuca this year. I hope it’s because Santos will be very good as well.
Mackall beating Firestone does not surprise me but losing to Dinapoli was concerning.
