This is not a move Rutgers made on its own volition. The US DOE is now investigating Rutgers, Stanford and a few other schools for antisemitism. This is a move Rutgers made because they knew they were fvcked and are trying to get ahead of the investigation.

They are investigating Rutgers Newark, as per the DOE website. Not NB.
