I'm talking about what went down the latter half of his freshman year and his sophomore year. After that he transferred out, then wanted to transfer back but was denied by the NCAA. So he finished his career successfully at Pitt.

football. Every one else were rookies. Then to make it worse
Schiano put that one receiver at the wild knight position, instead of
letting him be Savages main receiver. Now, Schiano's team had no receivers
and offensive line at all, but this was his recruited team, he had
to come up with an excuse for such poor team, so Savage had to
take the hit, this, after he was Rookie all American. And so many
people on this board took pleasure on ripping Tom apart, and giving
Schiano no blame. He even tried to block him from transfering to
a Big East team. Now that Tom has worked so hard to prove himself
now you hear, Oh I knew that all along. Two times he went to
a team that changed it's system. But he weathered the storm
and I can only wish him the best. Fair weathered friends welcome
