Wish I was bringing you guys some better news, but I just was told by someone in the know from out in Western PA that assistant coach Brandin Knight is very high on Jeff Capel’s list to be one of the new assistant coaches on Pittsburgh's staff. According to the source, new Pitt HC Jeff Capel reached out to Knight almost the minute after he got the job and a significant offer is currently on the table.
However we were also told that Knight wants the title of associate head coach, so this could help play into Rutgers favor if they can match the money & offer the promotion that Knight wants. We will keep you guys as updated as possible if anything changes.
