Scarlet Out announced for Hall. "Fans being turned away" lol..is that a joke?

I don't see how this could go wrong. Hopefully the red gear I've got will still allow me to sit in the seats I've had for 15 years.

has anyone ever looked around to see what people wear to the game. There is such a variety of colors it’s hard to tell what the primary color is. Need tk hand out t shirts to every fan and have cheerleaders helping people out them on.

Lol. They’d lose more than half the arena and less than a thousand people will even know about it. They should re-invoke the vaccination check and lose the other half while they are at it.

I've heard they'll have people at the entrance with the proper color palette for scarlet, so if anyone's wearing too deep or too light of a reddish hue they'll be turned away. I think they're being overly strict on this.

I mean the 200s and above are in the freaking dark anyway. Doesn’t really matter.

A better promotion “our student volunteers are walking through the stadium searching for the loudest fans”.
They will receive free entry to 50/50 raffle.”

Encourage even more noise, right color doesn’t help the D.

Putting aside the athletic department's attempt at shtick, I feel compelled to post the same thing I do every time a SCARLET OUT is suggested for basketball or football: ISN'T EVERY FREAKING GAME SUPPOSED TO BE A SCARLET OUT!?!?! What happened to Wear Red to the Game? I understand white outs and black outs, but what the f is a scarlet out? I tell you what it should be, a typical home game. OK, I'm done hyperventilating 😄. Go RU!!

Yeah... sure... "We're sorry Mr. Brown... You are wearing a sweater that is clearly crimson and not scarlet. We will have to ask you to leave."
oh.. they'd supply him with the right shade of sweater. And I'd guess he will be properly attired. Heck... issue the cops and EMTs SCARLET RED uniforms while you are at it.

At least it is a Sunday and everyone should not be able to blame coming straight from work.

The first about 7 replies in this thread should give you an idea about the type of intelligence that posts on this board. Keep that in mind when discussing other topics with people on here

unfortunatel, not the case. Can’t remember the game, but he wore a non red sweater to a big game.

I remember someone at the Rutgers pep rally in Scottsdale for 2005 bowl game.. was either Pernetti or Battaglia.. or both.. wore a nice suit and tie but NO RED! Gonna say it was Tim now that I think about it.
